Key Excerpts from letter responding to student Bradley Wooten's request for a list of Milwaukee police officers with criminal convictions or municipal tickets. The Oct. 9 2006 letter is signed by Police Chief Nannette Hegerty and Anthony Hendricks, captain of police. After its receipt, the class negotiated with the city attorney's office for the list, narrowing the request to only officers with criminal convictions or drunk driving histories, and was told the department would not provide that list either, by the same rationale, and that the City Attorney' s office would not overrule that decision.
