Summary:
Dayne said that she is an HR director that hires teacher and staff. I asked her about conventions and she told me that networking is a key part of them. Officials get together and exchange ideas and come up with new ones. She said that conventions are important because of NCLB restrictions on state funding.
I asked her about the Blue Harbor Resort, she said she attended it for two days for a WAPSA convention with Joanne Butler. She said that room reservations are presented as package deal-type-thing with registration fees. Hosts work with resorts to plan conventions. The Harbor Resort provided meals for the educators attending.
Dayne told me that the administrative team meets every August to coordinate its agenda for the year. The 4 directors help plan this event.
